@ The Game May 2003
Way out on west Kellogg, a little closer to Goddard than to Wichita, is a really cool little club called 'The Game'. I tell you this cause I don't think very many people know about it, with the possible exeption of the Goddard School District's Bus Drivers. This really turned out to be a cool night, thanx to them!
The evening started out with 10 Sugar Charlie playin first. I liked 'em! Only problem was, the only people there to hear them was the second band (that'd be us). So they played us a set, then we traded places. And we played for them, and a few of our closer friends. So when we finished our first set, There were three of our friends & about 5 bar staff(10sg had split). I had turned our set list over to our friends & let them tell us exactly which songs they wanted to hear. Then outa nowhere, about 7 cars pulled in the lot, and in came a bunch a Goddard School bus drivers!! I am talking about some party animals!! We had a blast the rest of the night. We played until 2am. They wanted to hear 'Old Time Rock-n-Roll', well we had never played that song before, but we took a shot at it anyway. If you happen to see one of these people on the street, ask 'em how we did!
